We attended the recently held Austrian-Croatian Economic Forum in Vienna, where we had the opportunity to be part of important discussions on enhancing business ties between Austria and Croatia.
The forum, organized in collaboration with the Austrian and Croatian Chambers of Commerce, brought together over 150 participants, including representatives from 40 Croatian companies in the ICT, construction, tourism, and food processing industries. Through constructive discussions, the focus was on the potential for collaboration in areas directly impacting our business.
Special attention was given to infrastructure, energy, digitization, and the dual education system, reflecting key factors in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. The significance of the strategic position of the Port of Rijeka and the nearby LNG terminal was highlighted, opening perspectives for improved connectivity between the Mediterranean and Central Europe.
As representatives of the Croatian IT sector, we recognize the importance of collaboration between the two countries, especially in the face of global challenges. Participating in the forum provided us with the opportunity to establish B2B meetings and explore potential partnerships in an ambitious business environment.
We witness the growth and significance of the ICT sector, and we are confident that concrete results and innovative solutions will follow further steps towards collaboration. We remain dedicated to developing collaboration with partners in Austria, believing that such initiatives will stimulate economic growth and create new opportunities in the dynamic world of information technology.
